The DE TMO Project and Dashboard implementation represents a collaborative initiative aimed at creating an inclusive, multi-vendor digital TMO network. Open to all enthusiasts and professionals, this project bridges several commonly used networks, enhancing connectivity and communication across various platforms.

One of the notable features of this network is its integration with SVXLink DMO Repeaters, which are optimized for digital voice communications. Additionally, a bridge to TetraPack/BM facilitates cross-calls between TMO cells and DMR networks, ensuring seamless inter-network communication.

Currently, the project successfully interconnects Motorola CTS Base Stations and Rohill TNX systems. Efforts are underway to extend this connectivity to include DAMM TetraFlex, further broadening the network’s capabilities.

The group behind the DE TMO Dashboard Project is not just focused on network infrastructure. They also boast technical expertise, with members capable of modifying VCOs in Motorola CTS to operate within the ham radio band. This technical versatility underscores the group’s commitment to innovation and adaptability.

Expansion plans are already in motion, with three to four additional TMO sites being developed. This expansion will enhance coverage and reliability, making the network more robust.

Founded by DB5NU and DL1NE, the project is supported by a diverse team of operators including DJ7LC, DO2ATR, DO1KMT, DG1OBD, DG6IBT, DL9AM, DC2OS, among others. The first digital TMO interconnection between Motorola CTS systems was achieved in mid-2021, marking a significant milestone. Since then, the team has been dedicated to optimizing and expanding the network.
